CLASS Services
Custom Local Area Signaling Services (CLASS) Gateway provides interoperability between local service providers for IntraLATA CLASS features.
(CLASS) Gateway
CLASS features are activated in the serving end office through subscriber line records. The information is transported through the network using Transactional Capabilities Application Part (TCAP) messages passed over the SS7 network. CLASS features include: Missed Call Dialing (*69) and Call Again (*66).
Service Order Administration (SOA) Gateway
Service Order Administration (SOA) Service Bureau is designed to provide a low-cost solution for Local Number Portability (LNP) record administration. LNP allows an end user to keep his or her telephone number when changing service providers. This requires negotiation between service providers, as well as notification to the Number Portability Administration Center (NPAC). This hosted platform offers an efficient and cost-effective alternative to establishing service provider and NPAC connectivity, and owning/managing a SOA platform. Porting requests are transmitted over a highly secure Virtual Private Network (VPN) which is administered by a user-friendly web GUI. ANPI ZONE’s SOA Service Bureau can also support the pre-port notification process between service providers.
