On April 25, 2011, ANPI, LLC and Zone Telecom, LLC announced the formal closing and completion of their previously announced merger transaction.

Why are ANPI and ZONE coming together?

The merger creates an organization with the network, infrastructure, systems, personnel, products and financial strength to better serve the evolving needs of customers and partners. ANPI and ZONE have competencies that complement each other and aim to maximize their respective strengths through this merger. These companies are strong individually but, when combined, become increasingly powerful — unlocking potential that would not exist if they remained separate.

What sort of changes will there be?

Customers and partners should notice very few changes. Both parties are taking all measures necessary to ensure a seamless transition and conduct business as usual. Many processes have already been put into motion to ensure continuity and the ongoing support of high service levels that customers have come to expect from both companies.

Will any services be discontinued?

None. Indeed, the combined company is expanding its portfolio of products to include more wireless, transport, SS7, SIP and enhanced data offerings. The new company will continue to provide and support the products and services of both ANPI and ZONE.

Who will own the new company?

ANPI and ZONE shareholders will each own 50% of the new entity.

Who are the senior leaders of the new company?

Dave Lewis, the current CEO and president of ANPI, will become CEO where he will focus on strategic positioning of the company and operations. Dan Boynton, CEO and president of ZONE, will become president and will focus on sales and marketing, and external relations.

What will the new company be called?

The companies will continue to operate and serve customers under their existing ANPI and ZONE brand names.
